A contemporary butcher and fishmonger conceived as a transparent and immersive retail environment. Located in Al Barari, Dubai, the space brings the process of preparation into full view, transforming everyday craft into a visible and engaging experience.

The design follows a layered and highly considered approach, prioritizing operational efficiency, circulation, and workflow before introducing materiality and spatial identity. This ensures a seamless integration between function and experience, with operational areas brought forward.

Defined by a refined industrial language, the space reinterprets utilitarian elements such as chains, hooks, mesh, and stainless steel into expressive architectural details. Concrete pavers and metallic finishes introduce contrast, texture, and depth across the interior, reinforcing a balance between raw and refined.

At its core, the layout is driven by transparency, challenging conventional retail models. By removing separation between production and display, the space encourages interaction and establishes a direct connection between customer and craft. A restrained palette of blue and red defines the brand identity, clearly distinguishing fish and meat while maintaining visual clarity resulting in a space that feels precise, honest, and quietly dynamic.
