Anar

Anar is situated at the heart of Souk Madinat Jumeirah, overlooking the magnificent Burj Al Arab and the tranquil water canal. The love for all things Persian has led Anar to create memorable and authentic culinary experience.

We wanted to keep the interior earthy with the use of travertine on the walls, creating a canvas for the art. A special ceiling has patterned metalwork finish reflecting as an elaborate ornamentation but also provides balance and symmetry to the overall design.

To incorporate the Arabic architectural element, a Mashrabiya panels were added in the open Tandoor kitchen with bronze antique finish. Perforated mesh in copper was also used for interior detailing, joinery and trims.

We decorated the sitting courtyard with suspended lanterns, lounge tables, traditional screenings, and calligraphy art that compliments the pattern stencil on the restaurant wall inspired by Persian gardens. Allowing guests to soak all the natural goodness of the excellent outdoor ambiance while basking in Persian music played in the background that perfectly blends with the theme.
